Η PlatinumGames δεν πιστεύει ότι το Next-Gen Hardware θα είναι τόσο πρωτοποριακό όσο το Nintendo Switch
Η PlatinumGames μίλησε πρόσφατα στο VGC και μας αποκάλυψε ότι το Bayonetta 3 δεν ακυρώθηκε και πως εργάζονται σκληρά πάνω σε αυτό.
Στην ίδια συνέντευξη ο επικεφαλής Atsushi Inaba μιλάει για τις next gen κονσόλες PS5 και Xbox X Series. To VGC είχε ξανά μίλησε πρόσφατα μαζί του είχε πει ότι δύσκολα θα ενθουσιαζόταν από τις next gen κονσόλες, δεν περιμένει καινοτομίες και θα είναι πάνω κάτω η ίδια εικόνα όπως και με την τρέχουσα γενιά.
Ο κος Atsushi Inaba επιμένει στην άποψή του και λέει πως δεν έχει δει εκπλήξεις από τη next gen γενιά. Λέει συγκεκριμένα:
“I don’t want to sound like, ‘hey, I know everything about the new consoles and they’re boring’. But with the information that I have now, I haven’t seen any extremely big surprises.“
Συνεχίζει λέγοντας ότι οι next gen κονσόλες θα έχουν βελτίωση στα γραφικά και πως αυτό είναι κάπως θετικό αλλά δεν είναι καινοτόμο σε σχέση με τις κονσόλες της τρέχουσας γενιάς. Λέει συγκεκριμένα:
“when you’re simply seeing graphical improvements or just ‘faster, bigger’… obviously it’s nice, but it doesn’t have that same inventive quality that really surprised me with past consoles.“
Αυτό όμως που του έκανε εντύπωση είναι το Nintendo Switch καθώς το θεωρεί μία πραγματική καινοτομία, κυρίως η επιλογή να μπορείς να πάρεις τη home console μαζί σου.
“But to give another example of my point, the Nintendo Switch was very ground-breaking in how it was able to just to take a home console and make it portable. It’s something that you hadn’t seen a lot of people doing before: it took this wall, that perhaps a lot of people didn’t know even existed, and broke it down.”
